Love Trap is a playful half-hour series that helps love struck people with a serious crush actually do something about it. With the help of our host, Evan Starkman, a creative plan is devised in each episode to give one secret admirer the chance to trap their crush in order to express their true feelings. The show will go to all kinds of extremes to create the perfect setting to trap them alone. The “crushee” has no idea that it’s all a set up and it’s up the crusher to play along to help the prank feel real.
Whether it be alone in art class, partnered up in a sushi-making class, or participating in a fake marketing survey, the crusher and crushee will be tracked by a slew of hidden cameras as the trap unfolds, with Evan and a relationship expert watching and assessing every move.
The goal? Create a love connection and give the crusher a chance to make their move before their cover is blown. In the end, Evan will reveal the truth to the crushee who will have to decide whether or not they want to give their potential flame a shot at a real date.
